SACO — Normand R. L’Heureux 82, of Saco, died Jan. 6, 2016, at Gosnell Hospice House.

He was born in Biddeford on May 4, 1933, a son of Ernest L’Heureux and Albertine Parras. He was educated in Biddeford schools.

Mr. L’Heureux worked at the Pepperell Manufacturing Company, the Saco Tannery and Spurwink Cord Company, retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. Andre’s Parish. Normand enjoyed following Thornton Academy football, the Red Sox and the Patriots. He spent his time gardening at his daughter’s home and spent time with his family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers, Ralph, Paul, and Dennis L’Heureux; and five sisters Fernande (Mae) Martin, Anita Fleurant, Reina Gilpatrick, Claire Matarrazo, and Rachel Dee.

Surviving are: his only daughter, Diane Stickles- Charette of Saco; two brothers, Roger L’Heureux and Conrad L’Heureux; a sister, Germaine Collard, all of Biddeford; a grandson, Randy Stickles of Bend, Oregon; two granddaughters, Jennie Langevin and her husband Beau Langevin of Biddeford, and Brittany Charette of Biddeford; three beautiful great-grandchildren, Riley, Kaden and Logan Langevin of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.

No visiting hours will be held. Burial will be private in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
