TOPSHAM — The Bath seventh- grade boys basketball team used a controlling fourth quarter to pull away from Mt. Ararat and win a game, 37-31 recently.

The away side outscored the Eagles 14-9 in the final quarter after leading 23-22 after three. Bath led 6-4 after the first quarter, while Mt. Ararat took a 15- 13 edge into halftime.

Ethan Upham led all scoring with 21 points for Bath, with Max Brochu and Owen Nickerson splitting eight points.

Shane Tanguay paced Mt. Ararat with 12 points and Conner Moody tallied 10.
