Tess came from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. She is a happy girl who would be an amazing family dog. Tess is spayed and up to date on all of her shots, she weighs about 35-40 pounds.

Tess is great with other dogs, so would do well at the dog park or on hiking trails but not with kittins as she likes to chase them. A fenced in yard or invisible fence is very helpful with hounds. For more information about Tess or to meet and greet with this cutie, call Cheryl at Another Chance at 676-5599. In addition to the featured pet of the week, Tess, ACAR still has a great group of teenage kittens and a number of adult felines all looking to you for their new loving family. There are also a limited number of dogs looking to you for a new start in life. To see what’s available, check out the adoptable pets at www.petfinder.com in the 03906 zip code.

To help the ACAR mission of providing a safe environment and quality care for abandoned, abused and lost pets, people may become a Support for Life member by pledging a monthly donation. The Support For Life program asks for the pledge of a $10 monthly donation. A $10 donation combined with the monthly donations of others will help ACAR meet ongoing expenses and continue the work of a true no-kill organization. It is through supporters’ generosity that the organization exists and will be here to serve the community for years to come.

Donations may be sent to: Another Chance Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 552, North Berwick, ME 03906.
