LYMAN— A snowplow stolen from a local business just before Christmas was located and seized by Maine State Police on Saturday, and the man who allegedly took it has been charged.

Anthony Young, 42, of Hollis, was arrested on warrants charging burglary and theft after troopers located him in Mexico, Maine, on Tuesday. He was taken to Oxford County Jail and later transferred to York County Jail.

The arrest stems from the theft of a snowplow in Lyman on Dec. 22 and burglary and theft at the same business a week later, according to a Maine State Police statement. Police said the door of the business was discovered to have been kicked in, and appliances taken in the New Year’s Eve heist.
