BRUNSWICK — The Landing Y of the Bath Area Family YMCA , is pleased announce that Kira Reed is offering Pre-School Yoga classes at the Landing Y, twice a week. The classes engage children in a physical activity and offers them an opportunity to use their imaginations. In each class a story is read and children then use pieces of the story to create imaginative and interactive poses. The focus is on retaining information on what was learned from the story, and poses and noises are used to hold onto the information offered. Children are urged to play at their own pace and be creative.

Classes are held Tuesdays from 10: 30 – 11: 30am and Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:30pm. Kira is a certified Yoga instructor and has taught adult and children’s classes throughout the area.
