The visiting Tigers fell behind 16-2 after the first quarter and were never able to recover.

Biddeford would cut the lead to 34- 22 heading into the fourth, but the host Dragons went on a 21-12 fourth-quarter run to secure the win.

“The kids showed some resiliency tonight,” said Biddeford coach Justin Tardif. “Going down 16-2 after one, not shooting well at all, and being without our starting point guard and center, we were able to fight back to get within 10 points late in the third quarter and forced a Brunswick timeout. We had every excuse to go away on the road and give in.”

The Tigers, who were without starters Patrick Pearl and Caleb Ball, were led by Jason Vadnais with nine points and Kyle Norton with seven points.

Biddeford will host Marshwood on Tuesday.
