PORTLAND— Both the Kennebunk boys and girls swimming teams took home first place in their meet Friday night against Portland and Westbrook.
The boys finished with a score of 118, while Portland finished second with 100 and Westbrook third with 37.
The girls collected 129 points while Portland finished second with 80 and Westbrook with 62.
Kennebunk’s Angus McLean won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:12 and later won the 100 butterfly at 1:09.
Joe Bergeron went on to win the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:22 while teammate Jason Albaum took home first in the breaststroke for the Rams.
The Kennebunk boys capped off the night with a first place finish in the 400 freestyle relay. McLean, Bergeron, Albaum and Andrew Zogg finished with a time of 5:07.
The Kennebunk girls went on to win the 200 medley relay with the team of Isabel Harms, Fiona Harms, Renee Nichols and Caroline Lowery.
Marshall Lowery finished first in the 200 IM at 2:35, while Emma Patterson placed first in the diving competition for the Rams.
Caroline Lowery also won the 100 backstroke at 1:22 while Nichols took home first in the breaststroke at 1:27.
With the team of Marshall Lowery, Sydney Macedo, Britta Brown and Nichols, the Kennebunk girls placed first in the 400 freestyle relay at 4:47.
