BRUNSWICK — On Senior Night at Sidney J. Watson Arena Saturday night, the Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/ Morse boys hockey team made a statement with a convincing 7-1 victory over Windham/Westbrook, the third-ranked team in Class A North.
Freshman Noah Austin led the Eagles (8-5-1) with a hat trick to go with two assists. Mark Abreu also racked up a five-point night with a goal and four assists. Tyler Lacascio, Tyler Halls and Sam Alexander also scored, while Cam Grant, Jason Magno and Matt Lawrence picked up assists.
Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse netminder Cade Charron earned the victory, making 13 saves on 14 shots.
Windham/Westbrook (11- 4) got a goal from Zack Callahan, assisted by Tyler Johnson. Alex Leblanc took the loss, making 27 saves on 33 shots. Sean White came on in relief of Leblanc, making four saves on five shots.
The Eagles finished 1-for-6 on the power play, while Windham/Westbrook went 0-for-5.
Next up for Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse is a road game against Leavitt on Wednesday at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn at 8:10 p.m.
