SKOWHEGAN — Mt. Ararat/Brunswick wrestler Robert Hetherman won the 170-pound division in the Class A North Regionals at Skowhegan High School on Saturday.
Hetherman pinned Westbrook’s Brandon Lajoie at the 5:18 mark, highlighting a seventh- place showing for the Eagles.
Mt. Ararat/Brunswick finished with 82 points, with Jabbar Belin (120 pounds), Christian Jensen (138) and John Hetherman (182) adding runnerup finishers. Dylan Schenk (220) took third.
Morse was eighth with 42.50 points. The top Shipbuilder finish was Hunter Reed, who claimed second after a pinfall loss to Julian Sirois of Skowhegan in the championship final at 152 pounds. Donavin Rector (126) placed third for Morse.
Skowhegan captured the regional title with 243.50 points.
