BREWER (AP) — A Maine man is in custody after a 12- hour standoff in Brewer.
WCSH-TV reports the standoff began Friday night at an apartment on State Street and ended at about noon on Saturday.
Brewer Police Chief Perry Antone says 32-year-old Brandon Ogden has been charged with terrorizing and creating a police standoff.
Antone said the standoff began when Ogden pulled out a gun while visiting two people at the apartment.
The chief said Ogden refused to talk to authorities when they arrived, prolonging the standoff.
A phone listing for Ogden could not be found. It was not immediately known whether he has a lawyer.
