Freeport was one of only 12 Class B teams to earn a trip to States – held at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Saturday, Feb. 6 – this year. The Falcons finished in last, but head coach Jessica Duplisea nevertheless praised her squad.

“We had some missteps yesterday, didn’t perform as well as we had hoped,” Duplisea said. “We placed 12th. Still a tremendous season; we accomplished our goal of making it to States. Couldn’t be more proud of them.”
