A bean supper will be held at First Parish Congregational Church, 12 Beach St., Saco, from 5-6:30 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 6 to 12. Children 5 and younger eat free. The menu will include pea beans, kidney beans, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, salads, bread, desserts and beverages.
Tory Hill Church is hosting a Chocolate Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Parish House on Route 4A. There will be a variety of chocolate, candy and baked goods available for attendees to dip fruit chunks, pretzels, angel cake and much more in the chocolate fountain. A York County Democratic caucus to choose the Democratic nominee for the special election for Senate District 32 will be held at 10 a.m. at Biddeford City Hall council chambers on Main Street.
