JONESBORO (AP) — Police say they are investigating a snowmobiling crash that killed a 49-year-old man in Jonesboro.

The Maine Warden Service says the man crashed into a loaded logging truck at the intersection of a snowmobile trail and a logging road on Monday. WABITV reports the accident is under investigation.

Investigators say speed was probably a factor in the crash.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the man. Wardens say the crash was the fourth fatal snowmobiling accident in Maine this year.
