COURTNEY SARGENT of Lisbon helps prepare the candles and starry night for the Taizé Songs by Candlelight on to be held on March 2 at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew’s, is Lisbon. The inside of the church will be lit by candles artfully placed to increase meditation and lights that evoke a starry night. Taizé Prayer consists of beautiful, easily learned melodies sung repeatedly to inspire stillness, meditation and contemplation. Worship leader Janice Sargent will lead the singing.
