BIDDEFORD — Pauline Albina (LaFlamme) LaRiviere, 80, formerly of Biddeford, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, after a battle with cancer.

Born in Biddeford Feb. 25, 1935, she was the daughter of Marie Ann (Binette) and Albert LaFlamme.

Pauline was a loving and supportive wife to Joseph R. LaRiviere; they worked together in many self-employment endeavors through their 62 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of five children. She enjoyed homemaking, singing, dancing, reading and, above all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by: her husband, Joseph LaRiviere; two daughters, Judy and Nancy of Venice, Florida; three sons, Normand of Bristol, Connecticut, and Roland and Gary of Harwinton, Connecticut; six grandchildren, Shana, Benjamin, Chelsea, Samuel, Thomas and Marney; four sisters, Desneige, Rachel, Yolande and Priscilla; one brother, Fernand; one son-in law; two daughters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

She was truly loved, and will live on in the hearts of many.

A memorial service was held Feb. 25 at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida, where she was laid to rest.
