Ogunquit Performing Arts is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with the return of the Irish stepdancers from the Stillson School of Irish Dance at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dunaway Center, 23 School St. in Ogunquit.
The award-winning Stillson dancers will perform a variety of jigs and reels, dressed in sparkling and colorful hand-made costumes. Following the performance, the dancers will invite people of all ages to join them onstage to learn or try out some steps. A reception with refreshments will follow.
The Stillson School of Irish Dance is under the direction of Carlene Moran Stillson. She has competed in the New England Regional, North American and World Championships.
The school’s show team has performed throughout New England as well as on the Elipse lawn of the White House.
