HARPSWELL — On March 17 at 6 p.m. at the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust, 153 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell, Kelpful, LLC and the Department of Marine Resources will hold a public scoping session on a proposed aquaculture lease application to raise sugar kelp, winged kelp, and horsetail kelp on a site located on the northeast side of Ragged Island, Casco Bay, Harpswell.
The session provides an opportunity for the public to learn about the proposed lease and to have an informal discussion with the applicant about this proposal. A scoping session provides for open discussion and is not an adjudicatory hearing.
