ALFRED – Anthony Carpinelli of Sanford was sentenced to eight years in prison with all but 44 months suspended in relation to the shaking and beating of his then 2-month-old twins in 2014.Carpinelli, 23, pleaded guilty Monday afternoon at York County Superior Court to two counts of aggravated assualt. The mother of the twins, Nichole Morrill, gave a tearful testimony in cour,t and said after the sentancing, she thought Carpinelli deserved a longer sentence.
