
Yvonne made a valuable impact on a national level as a Certified Community Action Professional and State of Maine Community Services Block Grant Director. Working tirelessly to promote programs and secure resources, she was greatly admired and respected by her colleagues in the Office of Child and Family Services, Community Partners, Inc., and Homeless Youth Services. Yvonne was a passionate advocate for homeless youth and is warmly remembered for her dedication, diplomacy, and professionalism.
A devoted and beloved family woman, partner, and friend, Yvonne loved her children fiercely and her friends dearly. She found great joy in her offspring and proudly celebrated their accomplishments with the highest hopes. She will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Preble Street, www.preblestreet.org/youcan help/donate/
