LISBON FALLS — Ryan Paul Case, 28, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2016. He was born in Hackensack, NJ on August 7, 1987, the son of Cathy Huston Case and Walter Case Jr.

Ryan lived in Lisbon his entire life, graduating from Lisbon High School, and later graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Florida. Ryan was very accomplished at anything he set his mind to. When he decided to do something he did it with a strong determination and a focused energy that made him excel at the activity whether it be archery, motocross, drag racing or simply burning a set of tires. Ryan’s greatest pride and joy in his life was his son Hunter and he had looked forward to teaching him the joys of anything related to gears, tires, and motors. Ryan was a kind and generous soul with a huge community of friends and family. He was always looking to help others before helping himself. He would set his mind to helping others achieve their goals, and if they were going down, he was going to go down with them. Anyone who knew Ryan knew that he loved to go fast in anything that had a motor in it, and he never hesitated to do a burnout or pop a wheelie.

Ryan was previously employed at Central Maine Power Sports in Lewiston and currently was proud to work at Bath Iron Works as a pipefitter.

Ryan is survived by his mother, Cathy Huston Case of Lisbon Falls; his father, Walter Case Jr. and his wife Luanne of New York; his son, Hunter Ryan Case and Hunters brother Braiden and their mother Ashley Edens of Lisbon; his brother, Eric and his wife Crystal of Bowdoin; his maternal grandparents, George and Jeanne Huston of Lisbon Falls; his paternal grandmother, Carol Case of Lewiston; his uncles, Lee Huston and Roben Booker, Ron and Susan Huston, and Steven Case; his aunts, Anne Huston, Kelly Case and her husband David Ingraham, and numerous cousins; his lifelong friends, Nils Lundberg and Justin Desrosiers. Ryan also had recent supportive friends Victor Linkovich and Ashlee Belanger.

He was predeceased by his uncle, Paul Huston; his grandfather, Walter Case Sr.; his uncle, Tim Case; and his cousin Jerrod Ingraham.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 11am at the Pathway Vineyard Church in Lewiston. As requested by the family, the burial will be private at the Hillside Cemetery in Lisbon Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund established for his son Hunter c/o Lisbon Community Credit Union, PO Box 878 Lisbon Maine 04250. An alternative option for his wrench loving friends would be to bring a new tool to either the visiting hours or memorial service to be gathered and given to a newly graduated mechanic looking to establish their career. A service of the Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Lisbon Falls, ME. www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories and offer their condolences by visiting Ryan’s online guestbook at www.crosmanfuneralhome.com.
