FREEPORT — On April 20 from 6-9 p.m., Freeport Community Library to host Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association Grow Your Own Organic Garden workshop. A $5 materials fee (in check or cash form) will be collected at the workshop. Pre-registration is required and is accomplished by calling Freeport Community Library at (207) 865-3307.
Each year MOFGA sponsors this statewide educational event at over 30 different locations in Maine. Open to the public and to folks of all gardening skill and experience levels, the workshop is designed to provide the essential skills and knowledge needed to make the transition from conventional to organic gardening.
