Libby is a 6-year-old petite beagle girl looking for her forever home. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Libby gets along with other dogs and cats, and she would fit in well in a home with adults and older children. She is a sweet, happy girl who just wants to sit on a lap or run in the yard.

Adoption hours are every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the adoption center/foster home of Marilyn Harley, 251 Route 4, Sanford.

The rescue thrift store at 37 Market St., North Berwick, is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All thrift store profits benefit the animals. Donations of items to the thrift store are welcome.

To assist the rescue’s mission of providing a safe environment and quality care for abandoned, abused and lost pets, people can become a Support for Life member by pledging $10 a month. The monthly donations help the rescue meet ongoing expenses and continue its work as a true “No Kill” organization.

The Third Annual Family Pet Expo will take place April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Berwick Elementary School, Route 4, North Berwick.

All are welcome and admission is free.

The Pet Expo will feature a variety of animal rescues and shelters, along with vendors of pet products and many other interesting items. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
