BIDDEFORD — Ann Putney, an eighth-grade science teacher and district science coordinator at Biddeford Middle School, recently received the Maine Stewardship Award from Project Learning Tree. The award is given annually to an educator who helps Maine students and teachers become better informed regarding sound environmental stewardship.
Project Learning Tree is an international environmental K-12 education program that works to increase students’ understanding of the environment.
