Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife is holding a boat safety class on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Acton Town Hall, located on 35 H Road. The April meeting of the AFIO (Association of Former Intelligence Officers), featuring John D. Woodward Jr., who is a Boston University national security professor and former CIA operations officer, will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Program Center of the Brick Store Museum located on 4 Dane St. in Kennebunk. His presentation will focus on the difficult scientific and policy issues involved in countering the threats posed worldwide by biological weapons, infectious diseases and weapons of mass destruction.
