SANFORD — Lorilie A. Payeur, 50, of Sanford, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, in Sanford.

Lorilie was born in Sanford on July 1, 1965. She grew up in Limerick, where she attended local schools, graduating from Massabesic High School in 1984. During her working life, she had been employed at Sprague Electric in Sanford and AVX in Biddeford.

Lorilie was an artistic person. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and creating ceramics that she would give to family and friends. She also loved spending time outdoors and going to the beach.

Lorilie was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Sevigny, and her father, Frank Haley Jr.

She is survived by: three children, Sheena Payeur and her fiancée Derek McConologue of West Newfield, Shannon Payeur of Portland, and Derrick Plante of Sanford; four grandchildren, Gianna and Natalia Thibeault of West Newfield and Julia Welch and Shaun Payeur, both of Portland; two sisters, Brenda Haley of North Berwick and Roxanne Haley of Springvale; a stepsister, Stacie Sevigny of Sanford; her step-father, Rudolph A. Sevigny of Shapleigh; and her nephew, Brandon Lagerholm of North Berwick.

Services for Lorilie will be private.
