POWNAL -— Pamela Jean (Mahurin) DeMerchant, born November 21, 1946 in Lancaster, New Hampshire; passed away on April 16, 2016 after a short illness at Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine. Pam was the beloved daughter of Betty May Lizotte (Willis) Mahurin and Shepard Harrison Mahurin of Groveton, New Hampshire. Residing in Pownal, Maine, she was the cherished wife of Jerry (Gerald) DeMerchant and loved mother of Rhonda Jean DeMerchant O’Shea, Jerry Wayne DeMerchant, Brian Scott DeMerchant, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
Pamela did not want traditional services and instead her family has decided upon a Celebration of her life. There will be a Pam-Party held on May 15, 2016 from 12:30 to 3:30 at Winslow Memorial Park, Freeport, Maine.
