Unused or outdated drugs can be dropped off for proper disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Biddeford Public Works Department, 371 Hill St. The Biddeford Police Department is collecting the drugs.
A turkey dinner hosted by the Knights’ Council No. 2266 will take place from 5-7 p.m. at St. Margaret hall in Old Orchard Beach. The menu includes turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce and vegetable soup. The cost is $8 for adults and teenagers, $4 for ages 6 to 12, and free for ages 5 and under. Take-out is available. The funds raised will benefit the Knights’ charities.
A solar open house and workshop for churches and nonprofit organizations considering solar investments will occur from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Sanford Unitarian Universalist Church, 5 Lebanon St., Sanford. Tours of the church’s solar installation and heat pumps will take place. Coffee and light refreshments will be served. For more information call the church office at 324-3191.
