WHITINGHAM, Vt. — Six Colby-Sawyer College women’s lacrosse student-athletes received North Atlantic Conference (NAC) All-Conference honors on Friday morning.
Senior Sara Berry of Bowdoinham is among the six.
Berry earns her first nod to the All-NAC First Team after being named to the second team the past two seasons. She leads the team in groundballs with 74 and caused turnovers with 53, ranking second in the conference in each category.
Berry is third on the team in points with 38 on 33 goals and five assists. The tri-captain also finds herself among the national leaders. Berry ranks 14th in the country in caused turnovers per game (3.12) and 30th in groundballs per game (4.35).
Berry was named NAC Defensive Player of the Week and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Defensive Player of the Week once this season.
