PORTLAND — Intermediate fares for children ages 9 to 13 will remain in effect for Casco Bay Lines ferries.
The CBL Board of Directors approved keeping the fares April 28. They had been initially approved as a one-year trial in 2015.
Also at the meeting, the board added 4:15 p.m. winter service to Great Diamond, Diamond Cove and Long islands on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The service will be funded by a 30-cent fare increase for round-trip adult tickets to those destinations, effective June 18.
Board members also approved adding noon service in winter to Cliff, Long and Chebeague islands on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The new service will not incur a fare increase.
