Lizzy Dennison made 11 saves as Cony held on for a 6-4 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference girls high school lacrosse win over Brunswick on Tuesday.
Annie Brannigan had three goals and an assist to pace the Cony (2-1) offense.
Amelia Hawley and Sarah Ferdinand each had a goal and an assist for Brunswick (0-3), which visits Oxford Hills on Thursday at 4 p.m.

AUGUSTA — The host Cony Rams exploded for five fourth-quarter goals to pull away for an 11-6 KVAC win over Mt. Ararat, which fell to 1-3 and hosts Westbrook on Thursdays at 5 p.m.
The Eagles jumped on top 2-0 in the first quarter and still led 4-3 at halftime.
But, Cony jumped into a 6-5 lead after three and outscored Mt. Ararat, 5-1, in the fourth.
Bret Sproul led the victors with four goals and two assists, with Dale Lapierre and Chad Bickford each scoring a hat trick.
For Mt. Ararat, Elliot Pressman had three goals, with Eli Timberlake chipping in two and Andy Waltz one. Mark Abreu added two assists, with one helper each going to Steve Schuman and Sawyer Watson.
Parker Lacey had 10 saves for the Eagles. Cony netminder Cam Gallant had six stops.
