BRUNSWICK
Brunswick police are still investigating two burglaries at Bath Road businesses last week that they believe are related.
Police responded to Coastal Marine at 53 Bath Road at 6:06 a.m. April 27 after a burglary alarm was triggered. Brunswick Police Cmdr. Marc Hagan said officers arrived to find a broken window at the rear of the building and a damaged cash drawer.
State Trooper Justin Cooley responded with a K9 who tracked from the store to Jordan Avenue.
A short time later at 6:21 a.m., police got a call from an employee at Slocum Chiropractic at 26 Bath Road, reporting that the business had been broken into. Hagan said someone had kicked in a rear door.
Hagan declined to comment on what was taken from the businesses because the investigation is ongoing.
In what appears to be an unrelated incident, police had a third burglary reported at 7:17 a.m. at 66 Baribeau Drive.
Hagan said Access Health, one of the agencies housed in the building, had a cash box burglarized. He didn’t specify how much cash was taken.
