BEVERLY, Mass. — Jackie Healy scored five times, and Endicott College led wire-to-wire in a 14-10 victory over the University of New England in a Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship semifinal Wednesday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.
The second-seeded Gulls (8- 9) will be seeking their 10th conference title in the last 11 seasons when they travel to top-seeded Roger Williams University on Saturday.
Korinne Bohunsky and Katie Cawley each tallied three goals to pace UNE (11-7). Jocelyn Davee of Freeport supported with a pair of markers.
Endicott scored the five of the first six goals of the second half for a commanding 12-5 advantage. But, the Nor’easters battled back to close to within four in the closing minutes.
The Nor’easters are hopeful for a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Championship, which gets under way this upcoming Wednesday.
