BRUNSWICK — Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine welcomed more than 150 participants to the 2016 Walk to Build held May 1 in Brunswick. The walk began with Bagpiper Sue Mack leading the group onto the route. Individuals and businesses provided sponsorships ensuring that Habitat could once again raise more than $50,000 to help build, weatherize and repair affordable housing for mid coast residents. The event included a groundbreaking ceremony for the two new homes to be constructed next at Habitat’s Hope Lane subdivision.
