A large rummage sale by Old Orchard Beach Community Animal Watch will occur 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Saco Grange, 168 North St.
Clothing will be paid for at $5 a bag at the door, but admission is free. A bake sale and a raffle table will be on site, and Friends of Feral Felines, Another Chance Rescue, Kozy Kennelz and All Tied Up with Kris Fish will participate. A turkey supper will take place 5-6:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church on the corner of Main and Cleveland streets. Dinner includes turkey and all the fixings along with dessert and a beverage. Tickets are $9 for adults and $4 for children under 12, and are available at the door.
A talk about the history of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the service of Tom Tudor, a former sentinel at the tomb in Arlington National Cemetery, will take place at 2 p.m. at the Kennebunk Free Library on 112 Main St. The talk coincides with Armed Forces Day, an annual holiday that celebrates military members and their service.
