BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Cal Ripken Softball Dunkin Donuts Rookies knocked off Bath 2, 21-18 on Wednesday.
Alexa Johnson and Gilian Countway led the way for the Dunkin Donuts team, scoring four runs apiece. Aurora Blier, Emma Hawkes and Samantha Vercoe each scored three times.
Kamryn Boyington advanced to second base in all four innings of the game, Julianna Morin reached base three times, and Laila Dicus scored a pair of runs. Lacey Dinsmore scored once.
In an earlier game against the Durham Rookies, the Dunkin Donuts team tied, 15- 15 in three innings.
Boyington and Dinsmore each scored in all three innings, while Dicus crossed the plate in the first and second. Johnson, Hawkes, and Vercoe all scored once, while Morin and Blier each tallied two runs.
