BATH — Norman E. Seekins passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer. Born July 26th 1922 in Bath, he graduated from Morse High School, class of 1941. He joined the Navy during WWII serving in the Pacific campaign.

Honorably discharged and decorated, he returned to Bath, partnered with his father establishing R.E. Seekins & Sons Contractors, and built many homes in the Mid- Coast areas. He retired from BIW in 1985 and frequented the Elks Lodge and the Senior Center. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend to many. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and spending summers at camp on the New Meadows River in W. Bath. He was a proud lifelong Red Sox and Celtics fan.

Norm is survived by a daughter, Norma York; sons, Robert and partner Linda, Randy and his wife Tammy; grandsons, Cody & Joel; granddaughters, Amy York & Andrea Williamson, Kaylee Seekins and 2 great-grandchildren; Kytana Williamson and Gabe Hagar.

The family gratefully wishes to thank Ms. Gloria Hatch of Bath for being a part of the family and a loving companion to Norm the last few years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 20th, 2016 at the Senior Center in Bath, from 2:00 – 5:00pm. All are welcomed
