KENNEBUNK— The Brick Store Museum invites the community to take part in its “Night at Our Museum” event on Saturday from 5-8 p.m.
As in the popular movie series “A Night at the Museum,” the museum will “come alive,” offering behind-the-scenes tours of its more than 70,000-object collection rarely seen by the public.
The event will take place throughout the museum’s campus so visitors can see more of the museum than ever before.
Tickets are $15 per person and free for children under 18; members receive $5 off any ticket.
The event will include the museum’s “Collections Set to Music” on the big screen (dancing is encouraged); appetizers from local restaurants; games; mini-histories; pop-up exhibits; and a glimpse at three new exhibitions, “To Your Health: Examining the History of Modern Medicine,” “80 Years of Fashion” and “Seek the Light: The Photography of Rowland Williams.”
Registration is required. Reserve tickets online at brickstoremuseum.org, by phone at 985-4802, or in person at 117 Main St., Kennebunk.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
