
She was born May 19, 1937, in Bath, daughter of Sherwood B. and Etta M. (Colby) Baker.
She attended Woolwich and Bath schools, graduating from Morse High in 1955.
She was a lifelong resident of Woolwich. On June 5, 1993 she married her beloved husband of 22 years, Ray N. Page at the Bath United Church of Christ.
Shirley worked as a house keeper for many families for several years before retiring. Operated her own sewing/alternation business, volunteered at the Woolwich Historical Society, was a Sunday school teacher at the Woolwich Baptist Church, a member of the Nequasset Trailbreakers Snowmobile Association, a member of the Woolwich Fireman’s Auxiliary.
She loved spending time with family and friends and would plan yearly barbecues at her home. She enjoyed genealogy, knitting, crocheting, sewing, listening to country music, taking pictures, gardening and bird watching, she enjoyed bowling, loved going to car races and camping with her family. She touched so many people’s lives everywhere she went. Shirley was loved by so many for her smile, compassion, friendship, always there to comfort.
Shirley and her husband enjoyed wintering in Florida for 14 years spending time with friends. They would get together for neighborhood dinners, playing cards, bingo and going to the dances.
After her stroke in 2007, her husband Ray cared for her for 8 years in their home before placing her in local nursing homes. He would take her for daily rides visiting family and friends. They enjoyed going out to eat. He had yearly birthday parties for her and took her to several family gatherings. They would often go to yard sales buying things for their antique shops.
She leaves behind her loving children Judy L. (Mosier) Rowe, Edith G. (Mosier) Bailey and her partner Tony Milligan of Woolwich, Larry R. Mosier and his wife Kathleen (Koehling) of Sebasco Estates, Tony J. Mosier and his partner Theresa Russell, Dennis F. Mosier and his wife Vicki (Emerson) of Woolwich, her stepdaughter Susan Reed of Brunswick. Her grandchildren Michael Rowe, Lonny Rowe, Crystal (Rowe) Vickrey, Warren Bailey, Amanda Bailey, Arthur McDougall, Jr., Matthew McDougall, Pamela (McDougall) Perez, Eva (Russell) Edmonds, Heidi (Mosier) Thiboutot, Mariah (Mosier) Child, Dennis F. (DJ) Mosier, Jr., Ray Reed and Kenneth Reed, her three brothers and one sister. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
She will be missed by her husband and family and by her close friends Sandra Peaslee, Judy Kenney and Pam Farmer.
She was predeceased by her parents, son Frank J. Mosier, Jr in 1959 and granddaughter Katie Reed in 2006.
She was previously married to Frank J. Mosier and Clifton C. Babbidge.

Visiting hours will be 1:00 to 3:00 with a celebration of Shirley’s life immediately following at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Desmond’s Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Woodman officiating. Arrangements are by David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home 638 High St, Bath. Burial will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, River Rd, Woolwich.
