
Amy was born in Gardiner, Maine on January 12, 1967. She graduated from Oak Hill High School and continued on to receive an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Eastern Maine Community College. Amy started her working career at Cole’s Lunch, a family owned business.
Over time Amy had various careers, including one as an administrative clerk, within a design division at Bath Iron Works. Amy then spent sixteen years owning and operating Mrs. V’s Busy Tree Daycare and most recently she worked as a salesclerk at Joseph’s Sporting Goods. Amy enjoyed being with family and friends, reading, and supporting the Home for Little Wanderers. She was involved in the Winslow Elementary School PTO, Catholic Charities of Maine, and Blessings in a Backpack Program.
Visitation hours will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville, ME on Sunday, May 22. A funeral service will follow on Monday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at the United Oakland Baptist Church.
