KENNEBUNK — Public input is being sought for the creation of a road map to guide Kennebunk’s future.
To provide input, residents are asked to fill in a survey, which is available on the town website and at the town clerk’s office.
The survey has three focus areas. One deals with strategic planning, which the town manager and selectmen will use to guide town management activities. Another concerns comprehensive planning and land use to be used to update the town’s comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance as required by state law. A third area concerns demographic information to help town officials better understand the trends in the community.
Survey’s can be completed online at kennebunkmaine.us/planningsurvey or picked up at Town Hall in the town clerk’s office.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
