HARRISBURG, Pa.
The Harrisburg Senators (22-20) won their seventh straight Eastern League game, beating the Portland Sea Dogs (15-28), 6-5 on Monday night in the series opener at FNB Field.
Leading 5-4 entering the bottom of the eight, Sea Dogs reliever Luis Ysla (1-2) failed to hold the lead, taking the loss for Portland. Chris Bostick (two triples) led off the eighth with a triple and scored the tying run on a triple by Zach Collier. Harrisburg had four triples on the night. The game-winning run scored on a sacrifice fly by Adrian Sanchez.
The Sea Dogs and Senators play game two of their series tonight beginning at 7 p.m.
