TOPSHAM — The Bath Middle School lacrosse team improved to 8-1 with a doubleheader sweep of Lewiston on Tuesday.
In the opener, the Destroyers were led by Paige Faulkingham’s three singles, along with a single each from Dory Kulis, Catelyn Bradford and Julia Goddard in the 10-4 win. Abby Carpenter was a defensive standout at third base, along with Giorgia Fisher at second and Faulkingham behind the plate.
In a game two 15-6 Bath victory, Faulkingham launched a home run and added three singles, finishing the day with seven hits. Brook Kulis tripled, doubled and singled twice for the Destroyers, with Carpenter and Goddard each singling.
Dory Kulis earned both mound wins with a combined 15 strikeouts and eight walks.
Carpenter, Abbie Reed, Brook Kulis and Faulkingham led the way defensively.
Bath visits Tripp in Turner on Tuesday.
