BATH — In recent Bath Cal Ripken baseball action, Wilson’s earned two wins, downing Smith-Tobey, 12-11, and rolling to a 14-6 win over Montsweag Road House.
Against Smith-Tobey, Caleb Sommers, Drew Jackson and Zack Carpenter pitched for a combined eight strikeouts. Caleb Harvey, Dayson Nygen, Braeden Cunningham and Sommers all hit singles, and Jackson doubled twice. The big hit of the night went to Carpenter with a triple.
Smith-Tobey pitched Calvin Gould and Miles Noris for a combined 10 strikeouts. Benjamin Forman and Gould both hit singles. Elijah Wallace had a pair of singles.
On Wednesday against Montsweag, Jackson, Sommer, Carpenter and Harvey pitched and combined for 12 strikeouts. Wilson’s offense was provided by Harvey with two singles, Jackson and Sommers with a single and triple, respectively, while Dayson Nygen singled.
Pitching to MWRH was provided by Braylon Williams, Thomas MacMahan and Noah Magliozzi. The trio combined on 12 punch-outs. Garrett Warner singled.
