Girl Scouts from Troop 3222 of Pownal recently were awarded their Silver Award at the Girl Scouts of Maine Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony. The Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout, in grades 6-8, can earn and gives girls a chance to show they are leaders who are organized, determined and dedicated to improving their community.

Wicked Whoopies had been located for years at 32 Main St., but the new location is a much larger shop, across the street from L.L. Bean.
