Pine Tree Academy of Freeport will graduate 16 seniors at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, at the school’s gymnasium on Pownal Road.

Baccalaureate, also in the gym, is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday.

The college-preparatory Christian school is part of a world-wide Adventist school network.

Vladislav Krivoruk, Alice Chesley and Alex Milano are Pine Tree Academy’s top three students.

Krivoruk is member of the National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars. He served as junior class president and senior class vice president. All four years, Krovpril played first trumpet in the Pine Tree Academy band and played with the school’s Advanced Bell Ringers, performing on a European tour in 2014. For three years, he went snowboarding with the ski program. He will attend Walla Walla University to pursue a career in health care.

Chesley has been a member of the National Honor Society since her junior year and has served as secretary on Pine Tree Academy’s Student Association during her senior year. As well as playing the piano for eight years, she participated in choir and yearbook programs at Pine Tree Academy. Chesley had an art display at the Freeport Community Library in January 2015, and recently co-wrote and directed the visual presentation for the 2016 Northern New England Conference Art Clinic. Chesley will attend the University of Maine in the fall, to study biology and engineering.

Milano has participated in Pathfinder’s Club, varsity basketball, varsity soccer and baseball throughout high school. He performed in the Northern New England Conference Art Clinic visual presentation program and Music Clinic all four years, having played the violin for more than 10 years. Milano is an active member in his local church. He will Southern Adventist University with an academic scholarship, majoring in secondary education.
