BATH — In recent Bath Cal Ripken baseball action, Wilson’s picked up three wins to win the league championship.
In 8-7 win over Smith- Tobey, Caleb Sommers and Drew Jackson took the mound and stuck out 12 for Wilson’s. Dayson Nygen singled, while Camden Phillips had two singles and an RBI.
Calin Gould pitched a complete game for S-T, striking out nine. Jack Delano had a single and a double, while Gould And Miles Noris both doubled. Jason Rowan also chipped in a single.
Wilson’s picked up a second 8-7 win, this time over Bath Iron Works.
Once again Sommers and Jackson took the hill for a combined 12 strikeouts. The offense came from Caleb Harvey, Camden Phillips and Sommers, all with singles, with Jackson adding two singles and Zack Carpenter a double.
Pitchers for BIW where Kiernann Mann, Henry Kerr and Colby Dolan, combining on 12 punch-outs. Singles were provided By Mann, Kerr, Trajen Higgins, Tucker Delan. Chase Roth- Wells had two singles and a double.
In the championship final, Wilson’s hung on for a 12-11 win over BIW.
Sommers, Jackson and Harvey shared the pitching duties with 10 strikeouts. Jackson led the offense with three singles, Sommers chipped in two base-knocks, with Nygen, Braeden Cunningham, Carpenter and Elis Martin adding singles. Phillips chipped in a double.
Pitchers for Biw where Mann, Henry Kerr, Wyatt Row and Colby Dolan, combining for nine strikeouts. Roth-Wells had two singles, while Mann and Delan each had a single and a double.
