The Birch Canoe gift shop in South Casco celebrated its grand opening June 7. The shop is owned by mother-and-daughter team Laura LaValley and Cheryl Segda. Attending the ceremony were members of the Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce, including its director, Aimee Senatore, and other chamber board members; Casco Town Manager David Morton; and Casco Town Councilor Mary Fernandes.
