BATH — Sharon Drake Real Estate captured the Cal Ripken Majors Division baseball title with a 10-1 win over Small Point Fisheries on Wednesday.
In the final, Sharon Drake trailed early, but Gabe Aucoin and Brogan Shaw combined on 13 strikeouts in the win. Shaw ripped an inside-thepark home run and singled twice, while Aucoin tripled and singled. Kyle Fredericks had two hits, while Jacob Mowry singled.
The SPF offense was led by Gabe Morrison with a double and a single, Dominic Hood with two hits and Sawyer Stead with a single. Stead and Jansen Morrison handled the pitching duties by combining on eight punch-outs.
In the first of two games, Sharon Drake rolled to an 11-1 win over SPF. Shaw struck out nine through three innings, while Aucoin had five strikeouts. Shaw led the 13-hit attack for Sharon Drake with four hits, including a double and a triple. Andrew Card chipped in a double and a single, Boden Gould singled twice, and Nathan Jewett and Fredericks each doubled.
