BIDDEFORD — Traffic is being diverted on portions of Main Street for a construction project that began
Monday, which includes sewer work and road reconstruction.
Traffic heading out of town on the upper end of Main Street is being restricted to one-way travel. Eastbound traffic heading into town will be detoured onto Western Avenue or Bradbury Street.
The project beings in the area of Western Avenue and continues to Elm Street, and is expected to last several weeks. Detours may change as the project continues.
