Residents of Gorham voted Tuesday to approve the town’s school budget, to continue holding an annual school budget vote and to purchase two new firetrucks.

Voters approved the $36.5 million school budget 759-372, and favored continuing to hold a referendum on the budget, 834-313.

They voted 709-444 in favor of borrowing $1.4 million to buy a new ladder fire engine and a new tank fire engine to replace vehicles that were more than 25 years old.
